Happy New Year!  It's been a long time since I wrote anything- I'm afraid that finishing up my student teaching made it impossible for me to focus on anything not school related.  I was in the classroom full-time, working after school, and doing my regular mom stuff.  Now I'm done and just filling in as a paid teacher, while looking for full-time employment in a classroom somewhere.  Hopefully Pahoa, but there isn't a hurry.  This is why I kept my part-time job, so the pressure is off and I can enjoy my time when the kids are in school.  I've been doing a lot of catch-up yard work and chores, and I feel so relaxed.

Both Charlie and Emi are doing well in school, and Emi has a new digital camera (thanks, Grandpa Ricci and Deanna) and she's going to be taking over some picture posting.

I'll update more frequently, now, and I'm sure Emi will be sending word out when she starts doing her pictures.  She'll want everyone to see what is going on.
